Accessibility Statement

We want HeyJess.art to be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, at larger text sizes and on a phone. We are working towards practical design and build habits aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA.

Implemented across the product and the pages in this section:

• keyboard navigation through links, buttons and form controls;
• visible focus outlines on interactive elements;
• labels on form fields and names on icon-only buttons;
• readable text contrast from a single shared colour system;
• status shown by words and shape, not by colour alone;
• responsive layouts that work on a phone at comfortable tap sizes;
• headings in a logical order with one main region per page.

Known gaps we have not closed yet:

• the design canvas is a visual, drag-based surface; full keyboard and screen-reader equivalents for editing layers are not in place;
• screen-reader testing has not been run end to end on the main flows;
• a measured contrast and focus audit is outstanding;
• generated designs are pictures, so text inside a finished export is not readable by assistive technology; the words remain editable in the app;
• some progress and loading states could announce themselves more clearly.
